Message From Pope Francis - Month of May

The month of May will be here before we know it! Traditionally, we pray the rosary before each weekend Holy Mass in the Church and families pray the rosary daily in their homes as well. Pope Francis has sent out the following message (the link is below) to the faithful with two prayers that can be prayed at the end of the rosary. He will be doing this daily as well in spiritual unity with us.

Third Sunday of Easter - April 26, 2020

Third Sunday of Easter 26 April 2020

Psalm:

“Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.  I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”
I say of the holy people who are in the land, “They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.”  Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. (Psalm 16)

Gospel: Luke:24:13-35

Gospel today is the beautiful story of Emmaus Journey of Jesus.  Let us ask the Lord to walk with us especially in this time of fear and darkness.

Let us Pray:

All power and all authority in heaven and earth have been given to you, Lord Jesus; hear our prayers and save us, that we may always love and praise your holy name.  God our Father, we ask you to give us victory and peace in Jesus Christ, our Lord and King. Merciful and gentle Lord, you are the crowning glory of all the saints, give us strength we may do what you command and be filled with your mercy.  May those who suffer with him in this life find refuge and success in you.  Amen.

Bow your heads for God’s Blessing:

Father, creator of unfailing light, give that same light to those who call to you.  May our lips praise you; our lives proclaim your goodness; our work give you honor, and our voices celebrate you forever.  Let us rejoice in you, Lord, and acknowledge you as creator and redeemer.  We put our trust in your faithfulness and proclaim the wonderful truths of salvation.  May your loving kindness embrace us now and forever.  Amen.

Have A Very Blessed Weekend,

Fr. Sathi Antony
